Ignara Strategies, LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates Ignara Strategy Lab (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Site.

Information You Provide

When you use our calculators and tools, you may input information such as:

• Hedge parameters (commodity type, quantity, coverage percentage)
• Market calculations (ticker symbols, probability estimates, bankroll amounts)
• F1 simulation parameters (lap times, degradation rates)

Note: We do not require you to create an account or provide personal identification information to use our tools.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect:

• Session IDs: Anonymous identifiers used to maintain consistent market display during your browsing session
• Server Logs: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps (retained by our hosting provider)
• Calculation History: Kelly calculations and market lookups are stored in our database for analytics and to display recent activity

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide Calculations: Process your inputs and return hedge sizing, Kelly calculations, and simulation results
• Maintain Session State: Keep consistent trending market displays during your browsing session
• Improve the Site: Analyze usage patterns to improve our tools and user experience
• Display History: Show recent calculations on the markets page

We do NOT:

• Sell your information to third parties
• Share your information with advertisers
• Use your information for targeted advertising
• Create profiles for marketing purposes

Your data is stored in a SQLite database hosted on Render.com servers located in the United States.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access, but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

We use Flask sessions to maintain state during your visit. This creates a session cookie in your browser that:

• Contains a unique session identifier
• Ensures consistent trending market displays during your visit
• Expires when you close your browser (session cookie)

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies (like Google Analytics), or advertising cookies.

The Site integrates with third-party services to provide data. These services have their own privacy policies:

• Yahoo Finance: Provides commodity price data (Yahoo Privacy Policy)
• FastF1: Provides F1 telemetry data (open source library, data from official F1 timing)
• Kalshi: Provides prediction market data (Kalshi Privacy Policy)
• Polymarket: Provides prediction market data (Polymarket Privacy Policy)
• Render.com: Hosts our application (Render Privacy Policy)

When you use our Site, data requests are made to these services on your behalf. We do not control their data collection practices.

We retain data as follows:

• Calculation History: Retained indefinitely for analytics
• Market Snapshots: Retained for 30 days for historical charts
• Server Logs: Retained per Render.com's policies

Ignara Strategies, LLC is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
